State level ceremony of Inauguration of Wildlife week 20014 (Ist to 7th October 2014) was organized on 1st October 2014 at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan, Gomti Nagar Lucknow. Chairman of the function was Hon'able Dr. Shiv Pratap Yadav, Minister of State for zoological garden (U.P. Govt.), Chief guest was Hon'able Shri Farid Mahfooz Kidwai, Minister of state for Forest and Youth Welfare and Special guest was shri Vidyanand Garg, APC and Principal secretary Forest and Environment.

Shri J.S. Asthana PCCF, U.P. welcomed the guest and Ms. Sejal Vohara, representative from WWF gave a presentation on green road for Wildlife conservation and Dr. Rupak De PCCF (WL) presented vote of thanks.

Awareness information material prepared by CF, Endangered species projects U.P. and Turtle Survival Alliance, India and report on green road and Rhino data prepared by WWF ware released by the dignitaries on this occasion.
