international Conference on "Conservation of Sarus and Wetland"

ittar Pradesh State Forest Department is organising the first International Conferences on "Conservation of Wetlands", with special focus on conservation of birds especially, Sarus Crane(Grus antigone antigone)  on 2nd and 3rd February 2016 at the Heartland of Sarus Crane (Saifai) in Etawah district of Uttar Pradesh, India. The conference is being held by Uttar Pradesh State Sarus Crane Conservation Society, in association with International Crane Foundation and Bombay Natural History Society.

The conference will be inaugurated by the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Shri Akhilesh Yadav Ji. Hon'ble Chief Minister will also announce the establishment of Institute of Wild Life Studies in Uttar Pradesh and unveil a Coffee Table Book on Sarus Crane.
