Entry to Bird Sanctuary
TIPS FOR VISITORS
Be inquisitive and develop an eye for birds. Cherish every moment of your presence here as every scene unfolding in front of you is unique.
It is always better to carry a pair of binoculars, a bird-guide and a field book to identify the birds.
Take briefings from the local staff. It will make your visit more enjoyable and informative.
Visit within the specified timings. Entry beyond these timings is treated as trespass and may invite legal action.
Wear clothes with shades blending with surroundings. Bright colours make your presence noticed by wild animals and birds and tend to scare them away.
Thorns on the floor may pierce through the sole of the shoes/ sandals. Be careful and wear appropriate hard sole shoes.
Don’t litter the sanctuary. Use dustbins and always carry your leftovers back.
Be sensitive to the needs of other visitors. Do not mar their experience.
It is advisable to move with a registered Nature Guide.
Consumption of liquor is a punishable offence inside the sanctuary.
Do not carry fire arms. They may be confiscated.
Please do not indulge in immoral activities in public. It spoils the experience of others and it may soil your visit too.
Drive vehicles at slow speed. Crossing the speed limit may invite trouble.
Blowing of horns and playing loud music is strictly prohibited.
Do not expect special privileges. Remember, your are one among our many visitors.
